Life is Good

Well, here it is, our new blog!  I am excited to get started on a new adventure in blogging with the goal of being a little more interesting, a little more insightful, and a little more fun.  I blog for a couple reasons but mostly for those that we love, and that love us, who we don't see very often.  And don't worry, it will still be all about the kids!

P. and I started our life together in Grand Rapids, MI and made some amazing friends, had two beautiful children and have some incredible memories of our first 5 years together.  Our old blog, mymichiganlife.blogspot.com, was started the day we found our we were pregnant with Pete.  Boy how time flies.  We made a big move across the country a year and a half ago.  Our life is much different than it was in Michigan but some things haven't changed.  We are still the same happy, fun-loving, energetic, faithful family we were there, just a little warmer.  Well, a lot warmer. 

About a month ago as we were headed out to the pool Pete says to me, "We have to pack our swimsuits for heaven!"  I said, "Oh yea, why?"  He says, "Because I am sure God has a HUGE pool!"  So, here it is, packyourswimsuit.blogspot.com!  The kids say the cutest things and this is one of my absolute favorites. 

One word to sum up our life here in AZ; sunny.  Sunny meaning full of sunlight.  Cheery.  Bright.  We just celebrated the Fourth of July yesterday with swim lessons, naps, party with friends and fireworks with more friends.  It was just another beautiful day in what we call our life.  Follow the new blog and get a glimpse into our days and don't forget to pack your swimsuit!
